What PSR Is
PSR is building the nation's largest surgical assistant practice by bringing its infrastructure to independent surgical assistants, RNFAs, and PAs across the country. We are two things at once:
- The infrastructure — the complete back office that runs everything non-clinical: facility contracts, op notes, coding, billing and collections, credentialing, compliance, recruiting, staffing, malpractice, and benefits.
- The teacher — we don't take a cut and disappear. We teach our people how to actually be successful independent 1099 business owners.
Everyone who works with PSR is a 1099 independent contractor. PSR is the structure; they stay independent. Structurally, this is a management services organization (MSO) with a regional equity model — built deliberately so none of the franchise-law machinery applies.
Veteran-Owned. Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Christopher L. Sweebe, CSFA, founded PSR after more than two decades of active surgical first-assist work — nights, weekends, trauma cases, long-term surgeon partnerships. His U.S. Air Force medical background informs everything: discipline of consistent documentation, the value of team reliability, and a belief that professional excellence is non-negotiable.
National Infrastructure. Local Ownership.
With 700+ assistants and providers active across 48 states, PSR operates at a scale that delivers real infrastructure — not promises. We partner with the nation's largest surgical billing company. We run quarterly in-market workshops, fly in, show up in person, and run the model the way it was built to be run.
