Christopher L. Sweebe, CSFA, saw this gap firsthand. After more than two decades of active surgical first-assist work — including trauma, nights and weekends, and sustained surgeon partnerships across multiple facilities — he recognized that independence without structure leads to burnout, inconsistency, and professional vulnerability.

PSR was built to close that gap. Not by employing surgical professionals or replacing their independence — but by providing the operational framework that makes independence sustainable.
